Artist: Freda Medium: Acrylic on paper This picture has amazing eyes with long lashes and beautiful lips. There are pretty nostrils too and it’s all covered by ugliness when within, it is actually very beautiful. If you remove everything and look from the beginning when I started to draw, there’s actually beauty from within.

Artist: Lisa Medium: Acrylic on paper This art piece represents a bubbly face. Because as a sex worker, generally, people will not know that we have other faces. Society says that we are sluts and that we are immoral. But I want to show this bubbly face to let society know that we are individuals who have many faces aside from what they always say or think about us.
Artist: Judy Medium: Acrylic on paper I cannot imagine how life would be if you have no free time to enjoy life. Now that I’m old, my heart is down, like as if it’s nothing. But when I see people enjoy themselves like how my generation used to do, my heart loves this side. When I listen to the music, I am happy, so I put a heart inside my art piece.
Artist: Sherry Medium: Acrylic on paper My art is about having four different people being connected by one interest. It shows that people can be connected if there is a similar interest. The interest is represented by the red dot.

Artist: Sofie Medium: Acrylic on paper This is my room where I work, Room 31, and I’m happy. Sometimes it’s scary, sometimes happy, and sometimes I am proud of myself because I can make money. I am so happy that I am work here, so I can go back to Malaysia and change to Malaysia money. If I don’t work here, I don’t have money. I’m so glad to be here.
